We all know what we’re getting into with the Radisson: you know it’s going to be a huge corporate experience. So once I set that aside, I loved this place! The front desks are this bizarre billowy art installation amazingly juxtaposed to the ruins underneath the hotel that are visible through glass. The rooftop terrace serves aperitivo and cocktails and you can sit by the pool that is open year round. The rooms are concept-driven by the idea of open space: the only door that closes is the one for the toilet – the tub, the closet, and the sink are all open and cleverly arranged. My room had a comical inflating lamp (I don’t know if all the rooms have that) and an orange tub that I was delighted by. Another detail I appreciated: window shades that could be controlled remotely from bed.

Beautiful design hotel with a charming swimming pool on the roof top? It is quite close to the railway station, not in the most beautiful part of Rome. However the hotel itself is ok.

This is a modern hotel that also feels comfortable. Even though the lobby is sparse the rooms make you want to curl up and stay there all day. The two person tubs are also nice for couples. The rooms are spacious and some have a balcony/patio area. It is also central to the local train station, which makes it easier getting to and from the airport.

The Radisson is a lovely hotel in a not so sexy but very convenient area. I attended a conference here, and basked in lunch on the roof deck and coffee breaks on the terrace. Interestingly, it is located next to Termini, the main train station, but also a few steps from Piazza Vittorio, the main multicultural area of Rome. The rooms are genuinely interesting, with unique touches like a fabric lamp that is inflated by the heat of the light bulb and free standing showers. I'd definitely come here again. Although it breaks my preference for boutique hotels with its corporate nature, the service is very good and the vibe is equally comfortable.
