There is also sensory overload once inside, there's music, dancing, performances, flashy lights, special effects, and a lot of party square footage for revelers to enjoy. This place seems to be ...

Though technically a restaurant/bar, Dady Rock is known as a place to party. By 1 or 2 am, people are dancing on the tables, bar, and pretty much anywhere there's a free spot to move. Live music is occasionally featured. Cover runs around $40, including open bar. For an additional $5, you'll also get open-bar entrance to Dady-O next door.

THE place to go for OVER-priced drinks and stupid drunken tourists. Fun when you are 20, a drag when you have a family.

Nice statue along the shore walk on the ocean side of the island. It is not something to go out of your way to see, but it is a pleasant surprise when stumbled upon!

For those who enjoy art and diving, MUSA is a wonderful art installation on the ocean floor about 40 ft down. It is between Isla Mujeres and Cancun, but much closer to Isla Mujeres. It's a nice spot to bring beginning divers or those divers who love playing with a camera!
