This location is really convenient, and serves up the ramen I enjoyed in Costa Mesa and Sherman Oaks. Ramen with tonkotsu broth, half a soft boiled egg, chashu, bamboo sprout and green onion. Love the combo to add a salad and chicken kaarage.

I was introduced to this ramen place by two very good friends and I was not disappointed. The pork broth is rich and tasty. And they offer several choices for toppings. I would also recommend the Takoyaki. The service efficient and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There's parking at the back of the store, if that is full, there is plenty of street parking around the area.

The ramen here is legit with a strong pork based broth and all the traditional ramen toppings. The broth was just right for me with the regular ramen. If you like it thicker they do have kotteri too. The sides (fried chicken, takoyaki) are also very good. Yamadaya is a little pricier than other ramen places, but it's worth it if you're looking for a decent bowl of ramen and sides.

Wow. If you like hearty, fatty ramen broth, you'll love this place. And I mean fatty. Broth is incredibly rich. Too much for my taste -- had to cut it down with hot water and it was still too much. Took home broth and it turned into a solid block in my fridge. Went well with rice the next day though.
