Near the artist colony of Todos Santos, Rancho Pescadero is a great choice for a more low-key resort experience than what you'll find in Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo. This small property has all the standard luxury resort amenities plus daily breakfast delivered to your door, beachfront location from which you can walk to the surf, and no kids under 12. Guests enjoy cooking classes with Chef Bueno, who prepares creative delights like the grilled Nagano pork chop with fresh vegetables. Many of the dishes are made of ingredients grown in the resort's on-site organic gardens.

What a wonderful hotel!!
It's owned by a woman who lives in San Francisco and is styled and accommodating to the most discerning traveler.
Cerritos and Todo Santos can get a little windy and cooler than Cabo (an hour and a half away) so the layout of this hotel is perfect. Instead of butting the hotel up right onto the beach it's set back with a farm of palm trees to block the wind by the pool. Don't worry it still has beach access. They have day beds on the private beach and will bring out chairs for you. They even bag up towels and blankets for your short stroll to the beach.
A must.... save enough energy for a post dinner bonfire. They have fire pits and the most amazing dried cactus that burns hot smoke free. It's the perfect capper on a lovely evening to have your own private bonfire on a deserted beach.

This is the spot - boutique hotel on a secluded beach with lots of activities near by. :) The owners and staff are awesome and totally take care of you. Definitely splurge and do the dinner / bonfire on the beach one night. There's a good surf spot in the winter - no surf in the summer though.
