    The Rector's Palace or Knežev dvor) used to serve as the seat of the Rector of the Republic of Ragusa between the 14th century and 1808. There's also a nice City Museum that is worth a look including a gift shop which I found some interesting stuff.

    It is called as Duke's Palace,Kneževa dvora or Rector's Palace.In old times it was the center of government.Mainly it was built in Venetian-Gothic style.Some parts were built in Baroque style and Renaissance.You can see a numerous portraits of noble families,paintings of old masters,antique furnitures ,old coins in that historical museum.

Description

It was in this Gothic palace that the Rector of the Republic of Ragusa served from the 14th to the 19th century. Rector's Palace has hosted a museum within since 1872.
