I really like it here because I go to college here. Redlands is a cute college town so there are a lot of really amazing places to eat for cheap. State Street has a great range of restaurants and amazing antique shopping. A must see place in Redlands is the historic public library, they have a cute rose garden and a room dedicated to Redlands history. Another must see place is the University of Redlands campus, a gorgeous place to spend the day. Also just 15 or 20 minutes away is forest falls and great hiking area's. Great place to stop and eat on the way to Vegas which is only a 4 hour drive from RedlandsRecommended for:

Small Inland Empire town that's straight east of Los Angeles. The one thing it has going for it is that it has a small town feel; likely because it houses the University of Redlands. A small liberal arts college that's emerging as great private school option in California. Outside of the the University not sure why else one would want to come to this town.
I think of it as a historical boom town. It was built in the 1800's by the passive train that made the city grow. With there oranges as transported goods Redlands has become an amazing place to visit. With out this amazing place to go I would always be bored.
