I really like the Regency Suites. The staff here are super friendly and extremely helpful. I took a look at a standard double suite and was really impressed by the space as well as the gorgeous views of downtown Atlanta the hotel has to offer. The rooms were modern and well-maintained. There was also a really cute breakfast area in the lobby of the hotel where guests are served complimentary breakfast every morning. This hotel is near pretty much anything you'd want to see downtown so it's a great option for anyone who really wants to explore the city on their visit.

I really like this hotel. Unlike a lot of other midtown hotels, the Regency Suites is not glamorous, but it’s plenty nice, modern, and clean. It’s perfect if you’re looking for something that’s nice, safe, and in a great location without paying for luxury. Each rooms a suite, which means they’re plenty large with a living area and a kitchen area. To top it off, the staff has that southern hospitality that you’d expect while staying in Georgia.
There’s a typical continental breakfast setup and a great view, but I wouldn’t spend too much time in the room if you’re staying in midtown. You’ve got pretty much everything right there or a train stop or two away. You’re in walking distance from Piedmont Park, the Margaret Mitchell House, and the Federal Reserve Museum.
If you’re not planning on having a car during an Atlanta visit (which I usually wouldn’t recommend), I think you’d actually be okay at the Regency. The hotel is on the same block as the midtown MARTA station, which runs all the way down to the airport and hits pretty much all the hotspots in downtown Atlanta.

The hotel does not have valet, but it does have a very secure parking deck below the building, which I always appreciate. The staff was very friendly and attentive during my visit from the moment I walked into the lobby. The décor is homey and traditional and the public spaces were very clean. The suite was bigger than I expected and had a pull-out couch as well as a kitchenette with a toaster, mini fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. The bathroom was also pretty big and well-lit. And everything was clean and up-to-date looking. The breakfast area is small and I was not impressed by the food selection (I just want some eggs!)—I’d make breakfast in my room. However, for the location—which is Midtown where there is great dining and entertainment in the most walkable part of the city—the quality and value is great.

In an excellent midtown location, this budget friendly hotel leaves a little to be desired when it comes to luxury. Inside, the rooms are nice and efficient with kitchenettes in each suite. There was a noticeable amount of street noise inside the suite which to some will make it difficult to sleep. The design is updated, but on the cheaper side of the spectrum. Fake floral arrangements and busy carpet are distracting. The linens are rough and scratchy. The hotel boasts a breakfast, however due to some permitting issue they are currently not able to serve a hot breakfast. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and really seem to care about the hotel. Amenities are very few with only a fitness center and recommendations to nearby businesses. This is definitely a good choice of a place to stay if you are looking for a great location on a budget. No pets and No smoking.
