One of the best features of the Regent Palace is its location right near Piccadilly. The hotel is in the beating heart of London and yet the room rates are beyond reasonable. It feels a bit like getting a room at whatever hotel Led Zepplin was trashing in 1971. Piccadilly is always jumping and you can get to Oxford Circus in minutes.
I spent four days at this hotel and have no major complaints to speak of. My girlfriend and I had to go out for breakfast every morning, which only served to get us up early each day. There is a pub downstairs if you want to grab a pint after a long day walking around, sightseeing and the like.
Regent Palace was a cheap, clean and convenient base from which to take day trips throughout the city. I would recommend it especially to young people looking to have a good time and budget travelers.Recommended for:
