The fighting of the crowd continues (see review of Oxford Street), as I turn from Oxford on to Regent Street for slightly more exquisite shops for my shopaholic shopping spree.

another of London's hot streets for shopping. Hamleys is here - great for kids. A lot of high end stores.

This is a great shopping street and even fun if you are not spending money. The closest tube stations are at Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus.

If one wants to shop - Regent Street is the place to be. I don't tend to do much shopping so I just passed through but it was blatantly obvious that for serious shoppers, Regent Street is a dangerous prospect.

Regent Street is the Rodeo drive of London. It is the very epicenter of the shopping district. When we were there right before Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee, they had the British flag, the Union Jack, hanging everywhere.

Shopping, shopping and more shopping! One of the busiest high streets linking Oxford Street to Piccadilly Circus.

Probably Londons' most beautiful shopping street. I just hate the traffic.
