There’s a reason Regent Taipei is always at the top of Taipei’s best luxury hotel lists. It’s got everything you could possibly want in terms of facilities and amenities, including eight top-quality restaurants and the country’s best upscale shopping mall, Regent Galleria, right in the basement of the hotel. There are many stores that can’t be found anywhere else in the country, and you can even get a “Shopping Butler” who can carry your bags, make purchase recommendations, and arrange for private viewings and delivery. The top-crust of the city come here to do their shopping. Everything is top-notch here, from the food (I had the best brunch ever at The Gallery), to the shopping and service. The rooms are comfortable, maybe not particularly exciting, but the marble-tiled baths are nice and luxurious. You could easily spend all day in your hotel without wanting anything else.

Regent has a reputation for being one of the best hotels in Taipei. The service is very attentive, and it’s located in a very high-fashion area, with lots of trendy shopping and boutiques. The restaurants produce very good gourmet cuisine. The location is convenient. And everything is very upscale in design. You really feel feel like a VIP as soon as you walk through the doors. My company hosts events at the Regent more often than any other hotel in Taipei because the service is exceptional, they are willing to accommodate guests, the prices for what you get are a good value, the location and setting are impressive.
