This hotel is in the center of all things Hollywood and celebrities, and they even reinforced this during our check-in, when they said, "we have you staying as our celebrity for four nights." The hip hotel is surrounded by Hollywood landmarks like the walk of fame, the Kodak theatre and the big white Hollywood sign, and across the street from the Jimmy Kimmel show. We were highly satisfied staying at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, although I must admit that we didn't spend a great deal of time there as we were off exploring the city.Recommended for:

This hotel is new, has nice rooms, and good staff. The parking is a bit of a rip off, and you have to valet I think, but it's walking distance from Hollywood Blvd. tourist spots, and you can get on the metro and go to Universal. It's probably about the same or a bit more than a hotel like the Universal Hilton, but a nicer place for what you're spending. Try to get a high room. Avoid the bar on the weekends during the late spring and summer... they have proms and weddings going on that spill over into the bar areas.
Dining options at Hollywood Heights Hotel include a restaurant and a bar/lounge. Room service is available during limited hours. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool, a spa tub, and a fitness facility. This 3.0 star
