Was one of my favorite places in the city. The food is great. If you like fusion cuisine and noodles, this is the place for you. I'm in love with the salmon sashimi salad! They don't hesitate to place people at your table of they are slammed and you have space, so it might not be cool for you if you're insular.Recommended for:

I used to frequent this place because they had the greatest coconut fried jumbo shrimp. I haven't seen it on the menu in YEARS now and I do miss it. I haven't been back since the menu changed, but perhaps it's worth a shot. It's a cute spot, though a bit crowded and often loud, with picnic table style seating.Recommended for:

Love the first sip of a hot noodle soup, don't you? Republic is one of the hottest Asian fusion restaurants, that serves a multitude of Asian dishes, quick and effortless. Awesome black and white photos throughout with noodles as the center piece. Great prices in an unbeatable downtown location!Recommended for:

I've never eaten here so I can't critique the food.
However, they have a pretty fantastic happy hour. The bartender is pretty quick, the drinks are decent and no more than $7 between the hours of 3-7 and $10-close. Beers are $4. I'd happy hour here again.
