Renowned local Chef John Folse (from Donaldsonville, LA) and famous Chef Rick Tramonto (from Chicago) have teamed up to offer modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine in the heart of the French Quarter. The restaurant is young, having just opened its doors in June 2012, but it’s already racking up accolades left and right. Anything edible on this menu will be delicious, and you can order it all straight from the bar, which you’ll need after sipping down the Bon Temps Bramble or the Belle Époque. Additionally, this restaurant’s décor is phenomenal. Local craftsman John Busch of Artisan Millshop (http://artisanmillshop.com) did all the millwork in this restaurant’s impressive interior, creating five different dining rooms (though the Market Room has to be my favorite) that each vary the vibe of the dining experience.Recommended for:
