The best banana leaf meal I've ever had in Malaysia. It is located right next to the big shopping mall in Bangsar, Bangsar Village II, and it is always crowded. People are waiting in line to get in during the lunch time. And I guarantee, it is worth it. Their fried bitter melon is amazing!!

Foods and cakes are awesome. Highly recommended their Pavlova and Tiramisu . This place also great for jazz music lovers in KL. The bistros consistently features live international and local jazz acts every Friday and Saturday night.

The restaurant located at the busy passage to the Garden Mall, you may choose to dine indoor or outdoor. Outdoor look more spacious but it's more noisier.Popular withFoodies

A throwback to a bygone era, the Coliseum Cafe was a former haunt of W. Somerset Maugham when he traveled through British Malaya. The cafe seems rather untouched for decades with old-fashioned tiles and woodwork. Makes a neat pit stop on a walking tour through Little India and the other interesting parts of Kuala Lumpur.Popular withDesign

This KL institution serves some of the best chicken rice this author has ever eaten. It even rivals the famed stalls of Singapore. You have a choice of either roasted or original. They open for lunch and serve until they run out. This place is always packed but well worth the wait.Popular withLocalFoodiesBudget
