    I stopped at Geysir on my trip around Iceland. It's the original steam and super-heated water fountain from which the others take their name. While I was there, I saw eruptions about every 10 minutes. However, this can vary depending on geologic activity and so on.

    Most tourists go to Grindavík to go to Blue Lagoon, but the scenery is amazing. It looks line some alien planet with lava fields covered by hundreds of years of algae growth. Ignore the industry on the other side of Blue Lagoon.

    Reykholt was a stop on my drive around the Golden Circle. There's a gas station and small food store where I picked up lunch. It has the the most complicated road sign I've ever encountered. Further along is Gullfoss and Geysir
