You wouldn't expect much from rice pudding, but at Rices to Riches it's an absolute treat. Decadent, sweet flavors over a bed of carbs. YES! I'm a fan :)

This was one of the "hit" spots on my first trip to NYC! It's one of those places that is just a must try because it's different.
I'm not a huge rice fan. The texture was quite interesting. I would recommend every to check it out.
Walking in, I was absolutely shocked at the number of flavors.Recommended for:Foodies

I love rice puddings. Rice To Riches and I are match made in heaven but separated by unbearable distance. I might be holding up the line with my indecisiveness but I could not care less. I traveled 2000 miles and I am only going to savor every single moment with my love.
Coast to Coast Cheesecake, The Edge of Rum Raisin, Peach Mango.... you are all lovely, intense and alluring. Life without you is getting more and more difficult by the minute. I am sad to have to leave you. I promise I will visit you again soon. Very soon.

I love Rice to Riches! I grew up with rice as a staple at every meal, but not usually as a dessert so the rice puddings at Rice to Riches were a real treat. Love the cute take out containers too, you can reuse them later.

Rice to Riches is like nothing I have every experienced before! They have more than 10 different flavors of rice pudding - yes, I said rice pudding. They change the flavors of their interesting treat just like you would find at an ice cream shop. Its a novelty quick service dessert place that has great service, cool decor, delish food and really cool plastic reusable bowls and spoons that you can take on the go (included in price of food). Go to Rice to Riches, grab a snack and walk the town!

The baskin robbins of Rice Pudding. It is a favorite of mine and a place where I take visitors. Rice pudding isn't for most people but this changes the tables on the idea of rice pudding. It is made fresh on site and comes in many flavors. Eg. Almond Shmalmond, Coconut Coma, Chocolate Chip Flirt, Hit and Run Custard, etc.
You're welcome to try as many as you like until you find one or two flavors that you enjoy. Have one for yourself (solo) or get an (epic) size that allows up to 2 flavors and share. You can also put toppings. Enjoy the signs throughout the shop. You'll feel less guilty for the tasty dessert you're about to have!

A rice pudding bar of different flavors! Quite creative but I still like the original rice pudding more. Also, they didn't let you have two flavors in the smallest bowl, even it was pretty big.

Get the smaller portion. Otherwise, it's probably far too much rice pudding for one person. Now that that's out of the way... I really enjoyed the Espresso with Chocolate Chip but haven't had another chance to try more flavors. If you're around SoHo, give it a try!
