    This is amazing size cliffs with cable car taking you to the top. Great view of the city and the Corcovado. You will be able to see the Copacabana beach to the left and huge yacht marina to the right. Worth going in good weather as in Corcovado. Part of the organized trip.

    The concept may have worn out a bit, but still a fun place in Rio: an eternal house party, with 2 dance floors and lots of hangout areas with sofas and video games and hip shops etc. Starts late and finishes when the bakeries are on their 3rd batch of warm bread, so you can satisfy at least one appetite.

    Christ the Redeemer fulfills the hype. Set at the top of Corcovado Mountain, the statute is the iconic landmark of Brazil. The view of Rio from the top is absolutely amazing. If possible, try your best to go when the weather is sunny so you can get an awesome view of the city.

    Carnaval parade is filled with revelers, floats from numerous samba school which are located in Rio. I have danced samba in the middle of the Carnaval parade with the samba group called Portela in 2002. It was an amazing experience to be in the Carnaval or to watch the parades goes by.
