This hostel looks run-down from the outside, but follow the signs to the top of the staircase and one of Singapore’s best hostels is waiting for you! The dorms have a lot of beds, but are spacious enough with lots of windows so they’re bright and airy. The bathrooms are amazingly modern and clean and theyl even provides the shampoo. The lounge looks more like someone’s living room than a backpacker hangout with a TV, guest computers, sofa, and art on the walls. There’s also free WiFi and free toast and coffee in the morning. Don’t hesitate about staying here – it’s really impressive. Plus, Clarke Quay is just across the street and River City Inn doesn’t have a curfew, so you can party as late as you want. A tip for the girls – Wednesday is ladies night at most of the bars with free entry and drinks!Recommended for:

I really enjoyed staying at the River City Inn while I was in Singapore. Their communal bathrooms and showers were always clean. They had free wifi internet. You had opportunities to do your laundry. They offer female dormitories. Also, each morning they offered tea, coffee, bread and coconut jam to their guests. While the prices were more pricey, it was completely worth it.Recommended for:
