This place is AWESOME. As a Nashville native, I usually shun most of the tourist traps on Lower Broad... but not Robert's! I work in downtown Nashville and I often go here on my lunch break. Why? Two words: Recession Special. The Recession Special consists of a fried bologna sandwich (one of the best in town, IMO) potato chips, and a PBR, all for around $3. The last time I was there, the cost had inflated to an eyewatering $3.25. It's cheaper than a hotdog from a freakin cart! And it's delicious! And BEER! The real kicker: there's absolutely no admission cost, so along with your meal, you get to sit in an amazing bar and soak up the Music City atmosphere while listening to some decent free music. You can't beat that!Recommended for:
