Woah vegas has landed in Los Angeles!

I randomly chose this as a spot for my friends and I to gather. What a pleasant surpass you wouldn't expect to find in a Westfield mall setting.

I mean really if you ever miss Vegas, just come here. The entrance leading up to the reception is a gorgeously designed waiting room. Almost with a zen-like quality.

The interior of the restaurant was even more grand.

I am absolutely in love with the Passionfruit cosmo! The food was pretty good too.

Minus two stars for the incredibly rude wait, although we made a reservation.

Overall: 3.5 stars but bumped it up due to excellent service & decor. =)

    Grilled tiger Shrimps 4 stars
Good sized & Yummy but on the Salty side.

    Singapore mussels - 3 stars -
On the spicier side but sauce was too liquidy & needed more Coconut milk.

    Crab w/ cellophane noodles - 3.5 stars
Spicy but too Salty needs more crab meat ; too much noodles vs Crab meat .

    Decor : A+
Reminds me of Tao in Vegas - very beautiful Thai decor very warm & Cozy . Outdoor seating has nice fireS wl nice sky View . Great place for dates.

    Service : A
Fast & prompt Loved the hot towel touch.

    Food : B
Americanized Thai Food & portions are On the Small Side especially for the price.

Tip: They validate your parking for 3 hours. =)

It's an upscale PF Changs or a "Pan-Asian" Cheesecake Factory. Decor is Vegas-y - a little over the top/cheesy, but still quite nice. The open-air patio is lovely, esp in the evenings. The food isn't authentic, but it tastes decent, and there's an extensive menu with something for everyone. Basically, a safe bet for company lunches or dinners or for an easy happy hour meeting spot. There is a good prix fixe deal for lunch, and lots of drink and food specials for happy hour, which goes until 6:30. Free valet with validation, and 3-hours free parking in the mall.

South East Asia fusion cuisine. The design of this restaurant is absolutely Beautiful! I haven't seen anything else this breathe taking in a restaurant in LA. It's like one of the 4 stars Vegas style hotel decor.
Unfortunately at this place, the decor outscored the points on their food! I've been here a few times and I always said I'll give it one more chance! Never worked out.
The last time we were here was for my sister's company dinner. I wouldn't suggest a company's dinner if you have speeches to make. You can't hear anything! The restaurant is so loud, you have to scream to get your words out. I figured with a restaurant that fancy, a private event room should be designed .

I'm impressed with the design and ambiance but not very impressed with the food. We ordered our plates of entrees and realized the size of those dishes were like tapa style size! So disappointed! Definitely impressed with the names of the dishes they have, included a few of Malaysian infused dishes.. But again, they tastes of the food was such a disappointment! Yet another overrated restaurant that does not take my taste buds away. Sigh!

This place is BEAUTIFUL! It reminds of TAO night club in Vegas, modern Asian D├ęcor. I would suggest ordering the Tasting Menu for $38/per person, 2 person minimum. You pick 3 Appetizers, 1 Soup or Salad, 2 Main Courses, 2 Rice/Noodles/Veggie Dish, and 2 Desserts. A huge plus is there are plenty of choices on the prefixed menu. Some of our Favorites Crispy Chicken Samosas, BBQ Ribs, Coconut Chicken Soup, Griled Cilantro Shrimp, Ginger Fried Rice and for dessert the coconut doughnuts with a passion fruit dipping sauce Soooo goood! Some of their Okay dishes are Chicken Satay, Shaken Beef (too salty), and Thai Noodles (too greasy).

Spectacular asian inspired decor in this unique asian fusion restaurant. We particularly like the people watching in the spacious and gorgeous outdoor lounge at the entrance: great music, generous happy hour pricing on wine and selected food items, hip vibe and cool ambiance. HIghly recommend! When inside for lunch or dinner, we love having our own booth!

Go here for ambience and 4/5 star food.

Jasmine fried rice and shaking beef is my favorite here.

Do NOT walk out of there without eating Carmalized Banana Custard Cake. Its the star of the show IMHO.

I love this place. Great presentation. Very tasty food. Amazing decor!! Free rice chips and some random salsa thing. Sure.

Ok, so the food isn't something that gives me Food Orgasms. And yeah, the place is packed a lot of the time. And occasionally the service is non-existent. So there ya go, My -1 Star.

But come on. It's a good place while shopping around at the mall, or before a movie, or with friends from the midwest who have no clue what Asian Fusion is and want to try something different. Yeah, It's a posh PF Changs, but It's good. And yes, I like PF Changs too. SO there.
