This is a very distinctive property. The hotel feels like a modern Italian villa but is located in the heart of the city near the Spanish Steps. Staff are very attentive. The rooms are perhaps small for the price but are well furnished and the public areas are lovely. Food is overpriced.

I found the service here to be really accommodating. I was charmed by the rooftop terrace packed with fruit trees and foliage. Generally the place is nice (though not breathtaking). The location is super touristy, a crazy shopping zone (Gucci is across the street, per esempio). There is no lobby whatsoever, but if you get the junior suite, that won't ...

    Boscolo Exedra

An incredibly fancy chandelier dominates the expansive marble lobby. Enormous wrought-iron birds hold the lanterns outside the hotel, which occupies a third of the Piazza della Repubblica on which it sits. This place is well located with easy transportation every which way, but in the end there was a certain tension in the extensiveness of the fanciness.

I knew going in that this is one of those big corporate hotels with a big fancy corporate lobby and as much as that isn't my thing, the room itself was really beautiful. Just gorgeous. With gilded pillars, the room was tasteful and luxurious; fancy but still comfortable and relaxing. I loved the piano bar downstairs called "Orum". Set up ...

This is surely one of Rome's coolest hotels. Tucked into a tiny little piazza and covered in ivy, it's got continental atmosphere written all over it from the get-go. The reception is adorned with Picasso ceramics and medieval tapestries. Super firm beds kept my spine really happy, while Bulgari toiletries took care of my skin in style. Some of the ...

I felt like a true aristocrat staying at the Hotel Forum. Dark wood and velvety chairs, and gorgeous lithographs of historical Rome on the walls combine to create a really classic, refined atmosphere. I really enjoyed chilling with my book on the roof terrace, another exercise in formal Italian style with its white tablecloths and red roses. My room was ...

To say that this place is grand is an understatement! Its voluptuous in every sense, you are treated like royalty and it’s quite stunning. An 18th century building with all the genuine character you could dream of, there is nothing false about it with its Murano chandeliers, artwork, beautiful decor, furniture and fabrics. Rooms are spacious and beautiful, each one ...

I can’t help but be charmed by the extras: fluffy complementary bathrobes in the bathroom. The flip side of that is that I can’t help but be annoyed by the stereotypical bad-taste hotel floralness of the room. The rooftop terrace and restaurant has absolutely killer views of Rome. The bar in the hotel is decked out in plaid and has ...

Staff were very friendly and their english was brillant. They offered to book sightseeing trips, recommend restaurants and showed us a map of the city highlighting places worth visiting. I didn't expect to find such a peaceful hotel, away from noisy traffic so central in front of the Villa Borghese and very close to Via Veneto. The Spanish steps are only a short walk away. Decently sized, clean room but with carpet - comfortable bathroom, the furnishings are somewhat unexciting but still pleasant. I recommend the rooftop terrace with ...
