Highly recommended daytrip, just a 1.5 hour drive from the Wonsqueak House. Get a real taste of "severely" Downeast Maine as you travel northeast, then add an international twist to your vacation as you cross into Canada to enjoy this delightful park. Tour FDR's summer "cottage," learn a little history, walk the lovely trails, watch for wildlife! The park is FREE, but you will need a passport to clear Customs.

The summer home of FDR, located on Campobello Island, is a beautiful place to visit. It is open daily, in summer, with guided tours, highlighting FDR's time there. It is a short ride on two ferries from Eastport, or a 45 minute drive overland.
