This restaurant doesn't take reservations but is worth the wait. Drink at the tables by the bar while you wait for your table. Order the rosemary focaccia, caprese focaccia and a meat/cheese plate. They have an rooftop herb garden which they use in their dishes.

Spacious, beautifully decorated West Village restaurant that has not only exquisite dishes but great prices given its exclusive location. MUST have the linguini pasta, looks and sounds so simple but it will explode in your mouth: lemony, a little spicy and slightly buttery. The brussel sprouts are also amazing, as is the caprese focaccia appetizer. I would go again in a heartbeat!

Located in the West village, Rosemary’s offers a kid-friendly option for the foodie family visiting the Big Apple. Chef Wade Moises, who studied under the high priest of the modern Italian rustic movement, provides mouthwatering dishes in small-plate form that the whole family will love. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a quick glass of wine and an appetizer, you will feel like you are in an Italian Café.

Pulpo Salumi? I can't lie and say I knew what was coming. This was one of the more complicatedly prepared dishes and my dining companion and I puzzled how they made it. We didn't want to ruin the composition to satisfy our hunger. In fact we saves it for last unfortunately for the octopus all the ingredients come off so fresh (partly thanks to the rooftop herb garden) that we were too full to finish our tentacled treat.
