The Hall is magnificent. We toured it as they were dismantling from a performance the night before. We had a wonderful tour guide who told us about the construction and history of the Hall, Prince Albert's contributions to England, and Queen Victoria's never ending love for him.

Royal Albert Hall is known as one of the most beautiful music halls and I have to agree. From the outside, it's a nice round brick dome shaped building. As you walk into the interior music hall, it's beautiful. It's spacious, high ceiling, plenty of seats on various levels, and the sound is great. I had the pleasure to enjoy a BBC Prom concert with standing ticket for £5. The venue holds many other concerts and shows, check their schedule online or at the office.

There is a beautiful memorial across the street from Royal Albert Hall, the Albert Memorial. It's worth seeing. If you can plan ahead, go online and look for guided tour times for the Hall - its totally worth it. AMAZING concert hall! And catch a concert by the Royal Philharmonic, if you're lucky enough to time it right.

Cool round building housing a concert hall which is a major venue for concerts, mainly classical in London. Try to get a ticket for the Proms season to experience this in full

my favourite music hall in London - built in a round, no seat is a bad seat. Acoustics are amazing and the building itself is beautiful. If you are into music and can find a concert to go to here, definitely take your time to enjoy it. I would say that although a box seat is comfortable and roomy - you are actually one of the furthest seats away from the stage.

A concert Hall in the round- built in memory of Prince Albert. It is the place to be on the Last Night of Proms. This concert is so wonderful, patriotic, people sing along, wave flags and have FUN! The Last Night is held in September each year, but the Royal Albert Hall has wonderful performances almost every night of the week. A great venue.

An evening at RAH is truly delightful! This beautiful venue offers a variety of great performances from Pavarotti to Dalai Lama. Most shows are modestly priced. The experience is never a good fit for solos!

Go to see a show at Royal Albert Hall, even just for the excuse to go inside.

Description:

Prince Albert envisioned a place in the heart of South Kensington’s museum district that would promote understanding and appreciation for the arts. The manifestation of this dream is now one of the most famous venues in the world and has been hosting events, exhibitions, and performances since 1871.
