    The Merrion Hotel Dublin

0.13 mi from Royal Hibernian Exhibition Centre

The Merrion Hotel serves a wonderful afternoon tea, which feels quite posh. The room is lovely, and in the colder months they have a turf fire in the fireplace. The finger sandwiches and pastries were delectable. It's a good way to spoil yourself and some friends for an hour or two.

There are not a lot of great restaurants in Dublin. This one was cute, on a side street with a patio and had eclectic varied food. Quite good.

Great fare and even nicer since they extended to add more seats! Fantastic menu which constantly evolves. The best vegetarian restaurant in a city that definitely hasn't enough options. I tend to avoid it at lunchtime and go off peak.

    Bewley's Grafton Street

0.39 mi from Royal Hibernian Exhibition Centre
    8 reviews

A Dublin institution, Bewley's is the perfect place to spend a few hours people watching from the upstairs balcony and windows, and observing the hours go by over a cup or pot of good coffee and a slice of cake. Always popular, always busy with tourists and local folk alike it's easy to see why it can be hard to ...

    Winding Stair Bookshop & Cafe

0.75 mi from Royal Hibernian Exhibition Centre
    5 reviews

I'm not sure how the bookshop and cafe are related, but they're both great. The shop is one of a very few (two? three?) independent bookstores in Dublin. The food at the restaurant is of the simple-but-amazing variety, the kind that makes you think (mistakenly) that you could do it at home.

HOLY SMOKES!!!!! This place was KILLER! First off, very small, no where to sit. Order, and get the hell out! The boys working there were quite nice. The Fish was perfectly cooked with a nice, flakey coating and was so so warm. The Chips/Fries were also very good!. We sat near an office park and ate them. Pure bliss. Not ...

This traditional Irish restaurant is located in the Temple Bar district. Great atmosphere and excellent service. I enjoyed the Chicken and Smoked Bacon Boxty which is a free range chicken filet in a creamy smoked bacon and leek sauce wrapped in a traditional Leitrim Boxty (potatoe) Pancake. The beef stew was also amazing. This is a must stop for lunch ...
