If you want a fun walking tour of Paris, you should start with the Rue Saint-Denis. As you walk along its 1,334 meters, remember that not only is it among the oldest streets in Paris, but it was originally planned by the Romans. You are probably aware that the Rue Saint-Denis is currently best known for sex shops and prostitution, but you also see that it is home to some trendy bars, boutique shops, and restaurants. You can also visit the Saint-Leu-Saint-Gilles church on this street. Another site you can't miss on this street is number 142 (at the corner of rue Greneta), a house and fountain built by Jacques-Richard Cochois in 1732.
