Rue Ste. Catherine is a busy, bustling street in Montreal filled with its young, hip, and diverse population. There are many restaurants, bars, and shops along the area. If you come to downtown Montreal, it is likely you'll be walking along Rue St. Catherine.Recommended for:Nightlife Lovers

Pedestrian friendly, on Ste. Catherine, you will find some of the most sought after restaurants, shopping areas. It's perhaps the busiest street in Montreal with tons of street festivals taking place throughout the year. Ste. Catherine always reminds me of Fifth Avenue of New York and in a way - better, it has some of the unique labels from European brands that cannot be found easily in the States.

A very good place to go shopping or spend some time with friends. I really recommend to go to the bookstore "Chapters", if you like reading, this is a book paradise where you can read a book like if it were a library and you can also read in a very comfortable place.
