Tucked away In a small lane in Central London, this is claimed to be the oldest restaurant in London (1798). Yes this restaurant was even featured in Downton Abbey! This is the place to try traditional British food and game meat. Dress up for a change and savour the sights and flavours of a bygone era.

If you're looking for the most British of the British, try Rules, near Covent Garden, London's oldest restaurant, having opened its doors back in 1798. Signature dishes at Rules are the classic game dishes and oysters, pies and puddings.

Claimed as London's oldest restaurant. Gives you a cozy, traditional feeling when you walk in. The menu is extremely British. It is nice if you want to experience something very British.

London's Oldest Restaurant is right off Covent Garden. Elegant dining rooms feel like a country estate. The menu is traditional classic English with favourites such as Beef and Yorkshire pudding.
