    Rubicon Estate

    12 reviews

Great winery. Francis Ford Coppola bought the old Inglenook chateau, and resurrected a great winery. At first it was called Niebaum-Coppola, then the name changed to Rubicon Estate. He just bought rights to the Inglenook name, so the name of the winery may or may not change again. This place used to house a small museum of FFC's stuff from ...

There may be a wait, and service can be a little slow if it is crowded, but the wine is worth waiting for. Outstanding!

Best high level view of valley facing the Western hills. Bring your picnic and call the winery ahead of time to reserve one. And don't consider not buying a bottle of Rutherford Hill wine to complement your experience

    Beaulieu Vineyards

Owned by Diageo, but actually not too bad - the staff here know their stuff and had a good array of wine for us to try. No need to make an appointment, but be prepared for it to be busy if you're going on a Saturday

    Honig Vineyards

    4 reviews

One of my favorite wineries. It's off the beaten track so it may be a little difficult to find but worth the effort. You should make a reservation and the tasting is $10. The tasting fee is waved if you spend $25. The tasting room in small but their set up is quaint. You feel like you are tasting wine ...

Quintessa is a small winery that lets you taste wine from individual grapes before it's mixed. It was by far the best wine tasting I've been to. It's also in a super modern beautiful building near Auberge du Soleil (best choc chip cookies). Joseph Phelps is always a good solid choice too.

Tasting is by appointment only, but the wines here are very good. Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon are the ones to aim for.

    Elizabeth Spencer Winery

Quaint (but small) tasting room in a converted old Post Office. Wines here are very nice, and their Chardonnay and Grenache are especially good. Staff here are generally very good and very friendly. Tasting room is across the street from BV and the Rutherford Grill.

Historical winery on highway 29. Classic Napa Valley wines, and their Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are the best here.

    Pina Napa Valley

It amazes me that this place doesn't require an appointment because the tasting room is so small that even 6 guests make it feel crowded. The tasting room is really just in the chilly barrel room so you get a nice ambiance (but bring a sweater, it's cold in there)! If you like big red wines, you should try to ...

    Niebaum Coppola Winery

Ignore this listing. Francis Ford Coppola changed the name of this winery to "Rubicon Estate" years ago. Now, he also recently bought the rights to the name "Inglenook" but for now, please go check out whatever people are saying about Rubicon Estate.

What a friendly tasting experience! I have been going to Sequoia Grove for years and after a brief hiatus decided to stop by and give them another go on my visit to Napa Valley last week. I'm so glad I did! We were the first people of the day in the tasting room so we were given a super friendly ...

    St. Helena Olive Oil Co.

    7 reviews

I planned a limo trip in Napa and hit up St. Helena's Olive Oil Co on Main Street in St. Helena. It was just a store front but was a great hit when we stopped there. We purchased a jalapeno jam and a bottle of olive oil. They were very informative and we loved the free tastings!
