I was recently here for the PaleyFest panel for Once Upon a Time. The venue is amazing in that Art Deco meets Old Hollywood style. The sound and acoustics are quite good. There were times when I could hear a slight echo.
Parking can be found for $10 in the next building over on Wilshire and La Cienega. There's free street parking on Sunday so don't forget.
They take credit cards at the refreshment stand which is a plus if you've just spent your last $10 on parking.
The whole close-up to your favorite TV star experience is quite surreal and fun. Take lots of pictures, ask questions, and try not to make an absolute fool of yourself. Actors love their fans too.

I've been here every year for Paleyfest. I usually pick some shows I want to go to and it's always here at the Saban Theatre.
PARKING: Street parking or garages ($10). I make sure I do street parking - there is on La Cienega near the park! I just walk from there, not bad of a walk but there is closer parking near the businesses.
AMBIANCE: Nice theater - no headrest, but fine. Very old Hollywood feel. Grand stairs to walk up to the Mezzanine. I've sat in Orchestra and Mezzanine.
DRINKS: They have a bar... it's pricey. Only downstairs.
SERVICE: Very helpful but they regulate on seating. For the American Idol Paleyfest event, a girl tried to walk to the front of the orchestra section but was turned away because she didn't have the right seats. Poor girl trying so hard
Overall: Nice theater... kinda forced to watch it there for Paleyfest.
