I don't recommend this restaurant for any occasion. The food is incredibly overpriced ($30 plate of salmon for lunch, anyone?). The quality of the food is not good. The service is not good. In essence, there is nothing to recommend here. No matter how tempting it looks, save your money. If you insist on going, just have a drink on the outside deck overlooking the city. You'll pay through the nose for it, but at least you'll have a view while doing it. If you're looking for a similar view, but with a better dining experience, try Six Seven at Edgewater.

I came here couple of years back visiting our friend that was stationed in Seattle!
My friend is a wonderful host and took us to all the hot spot all around Seattle as he has been living there for years.
So one of the hot spots we visited was SALTY's!
We decided to have brunch buffet and I was worried I wasn't going to have much to eat being that it was mainly sea food. Since it was still Brunch i actually had a lot of choices!
I can't fail to mention the dessert section- i remember trekking back and forth to try everything!

We were def living the life, drinking our mimosas and enjoying the beautiful view of Seattle's July weather!

A def a must go place if you visit Seattle!

This place has the best brunch buffets! Seafood, to pasta, to breakfast items, to desserts and more!it is a little pricey, but worth it at least to me! You should probably make reservations if you are going to go to the weekend brunches because it does get busy and walk ins do have to wait a while! There is valet parking or you can park on the streets. Great view of Seattle area!

If you have the chance to go to Salty's on the Sunday morning for brunch, it will cost you but WOW talk about eating sea food.

The five stars are for the view more than the food (the view gets six stars, which makes up for the four-star food). If you're traveling to Seattle but don't know exactly where to go outside of the main downtown area, Salty's is a perfect mini-road trip. Check out Alki Beach for a quick stroll.

Salty's is an institution in Seattle. It is the best place to take in the skyline of downtown Seattle by at and by night. Their seafood brunch is very famous and also comes with a hefty price. You can get crab legs, oysters, cocktail shrimps, etc. all you can eat style. However, I personally don't think the food there is particularly flavorful.

Great food and amazing view of the seattle skyline. Came here tonight and enjoyed snow crab and the garlic fries with a good drink. The sun set during dinner while enjoying the front row view of the scenery transformation across the water. Coming back on my next trip.

Update: came back with the family last night and had the king crab with the rosemary creamy potatoes....delicious! Wife had the steelhead and gave it rave reviews.

This restaurant is a Must if you can be there at a sunset and night to look across the bay to see the city skyline.

It's across the water from Seattle, so if you are dining, ask for a window table at night. And the food is delicious! (ps-my daughter worked there)
