What happened to my crunchy wonton noodles that I used to have here? I feel so disappointed when my brother decided to eat here before he head back up for school. We came here in the afternoon with the family and there weren't that many people. Surprisingly. Yeah, there's dim sum going on at the Five Star, but still...:/
I remembered how our parents would always order us sui gaw wonton noodle soup, crispy fried egg noodle with seafood and beef chow fun. Just sharing these 3 dishes was already enough for us 4. Now ordering the same dishes does not taste the same at all. Either they've changed chefs or who knows what happened.
Food does not taste the same. Wonton noodles did not taste like the same type of noodles they had used. We ordered the same crispy friend egg noodle with seafood, and the sauce totally soaked up the crunchiness. Sigh, the crunchiness was the best part of the dish, but the starchy sauce killed it. If you ever get this dish, try to tell them to separate. As for the chow fun, we got chicken chow fun (dry) instead and that was the best out of the 3 dishes. The sui gaw wontons still tasted the same, its just the noodle. Needs more crunch!
My childhood Sam Woo Barbecue place is no longer yummers. :(

Ive been going to this restaurant since I was a kid! My family likes coming here because they have great chinese food for cheap! I love the wonton soup and usually we just order a bunch of entrees to share with each other. The hot tofu dessert here is bomb too. Ive never had tofu that soft and silky before. You can also call in to place an order to pick up if youre in a hurry.Recommended for:Family Travelers
