    Hotel del Coronado

    Hotel del Coronado

    Class:
    94 reviews
Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

I've never stayed at the Hotel Del, but I've been there plenty of times. If you're in San Diego, do not miss this place. It's iconic. And don't forget to look at the tower. If you're lucky you'll see the ghost of the girl who jumped out of that room.

If you're staying in downtown San Diego, The US Grant is absolutely fabulous. Not only is the historic hotel gorgeous, the service is extremely gracious and warm. This is truly a 5-star hotel, without an ounce of pretentiousness. The room is so luxurious. The decor is stunning - I loved the intricate crown molding and the large windows looked out ...

    Hilton San Diego Bayfront

    Hilton San Diego Bayfront

    Class:
    20 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

A gorgeous, comfortable, and pampering hotel with the friendliest restaurant staff I've ever met. The views are unbeatable, the beds are swallow-you-up delightful, and each room has a balcony so you can fully enjoy an ocean-view sunset. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit removed from downtown, making transportation/convenience a little tricky.

There are two separate towers at this Sheraton so if you have a preference, be sure to state so when you are booking your rooms. The Bay Tower is the older of the two. As a Hard Rock junkie who collects charms from every HRC I visit around the world, I'd rate this in the top five I've been to (so far). Maybe the surrounding area has something to do with it, but I also especially love their bar here. The only thing I usually complain about is the volume of the music - ...
