    The Broken Yolk Cafe

Eats: Border Check Omelette (chorizo) Drinks: Mimosas Broken Yolk Cafe is known for its omelette challenge, but I'll remember it as a plain jane, over hyped breakfast spot. The two stars in my review represent the roof top patio and the mimosa's. Practically every table was full on a Saturday morning, so this place was happening. The chorizo omelette was ...

I love brunch, and Snooze has to be one of my favorite brunch spots! They serve some amazing benedicts! They also have pretty awesome pancakes, and you can choose to get a pancake flight. I love the ambience - high ceiling, naturally lighted and airy, perfect way to enjoy your morning! Friendly service too!

    Brockton Villa Restaurant

I love this restaurant. It is the best place to have a warming latte, after a swim in La Jolla Cove. It literally sits right across the street from the Cove. This is also a great place to eat or enjoy a glass of wine. Brockton Villa features light and healthy California Cuisine along with other standards for both breakfast, ...

    Kono's Cafe

    9 reviews

Have recommended this place many times. Only complaint was seating especially for larger groups. This restaurant located right next to the pier offers quality food and great prices! If you get there early enough you can beat the line and snag a seat on the pier overlooking the ocean. Be careful of long lines especially during the summer and the ...

I came here in the morning for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We got on the list and was told the wait would be about 20 minutes, not even was wayyy quicker! I guess its better to overestimate wait time than underestimate! We ordered the eggs benedict and their famous stuffed french toast. The french toast was okay for ...

    Fig Tree Cafe

I had just gotten off the plane and was craving yummy, comfort food and a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. I headed to Liberty Station and landed at FTC and it fit the bill and my tastebuds perfectly. My server was a doll, gave me a few tastes of wine and was so attentive over my whole lunch. I highly ...

    Harry's Coffee Shop

The grandfather of third-generation owner Harry Rudolph once bought and sold diners in Brooklyn. “When the Dodgers moved to California, my grandparents moved, too, and opened a New York–style diner in 1960,” Rudolph says. The sports photographs they hung lovingly on the walls remain, along with 30 booths and 13 stools that face an open kitchen. “There must be more ...
