    Sushi Ota

    31 reviews

If you want some higher end, yummy sushi, then this is the place! This place definitely has sushi that is way better than what you get at places like Sushi Deli. When you come here, prepare to spend a little bit. The sashimi here is really fresh. What I really recommend getting is the Uni. I've had it for the ...

    World Famous (at Surfer Beach)

A local favorite...if you go on Monday night, stand in the bar line and get half priced apps and drinks...the app will fill you up. This place is a bit of a "dive" but the value is not in the interior design, but the amazing view - go for happy hour and watch the sun set from here...one of the ...

    Point Loma Seafoods

    16 reviews

UPDATE 2014: Tried the Soft Shell Crab sandwich and the Maine Lobster Roll sandwich this year. Each come out to $18 after tax. Soft Shell Crab sandwich consists of one whole crab and coleslaw. It gets kind of heavy so split it with someone. The Maine Lobster Roll didn't have enough lobster in it. Although it tasted good and refreshing, ...

    333 Pacific

    10 reviews

I'm not much of a martini drinker but this is a place that I've always wanted to try. The blue cheese stuffed olives were AMAZING. The key lime pie martini was pretty good - note that it's a much sweeter drink. The lemon drop was also pretty good. Staff was very friendly.

    Pacific Beach Fish Shop

    10 reviews

It's a hit or miss here. I love fish and eat it quite often. For some reason, the last time we were there, both my husband and I got sick. We felt terrible for the rest of the day and never returned. This place is quite busy though. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a fresh night. Come when it's ...

    Brockton Villa Restaurant

Brunch by the beach? Yes, please! A historical beach house built in the late 1800's, Brockton Villa is right in La Jolla cove with views of the seals chilling on the rocks. The brunch food is delicious and the vibe is laid back - the perfect spot to enjoy a lazy Sunday. Must orders: clam chowder, Coast Toast, and carne ...

Delicious food on beach front. Appropriately priced for quality, atmosphere, n view. Somewhat small restaurant so reservations recommended. Tiny valet lot so street parking is best.

    Donovan's - La Jolla

    10 reviews

Donovan’s is located right across the street from UTC, somewhat hidden within all of the business buildings. I chose this spot for happy hour because they have fantastic options for the ladies on Tuesday nights. Donovan’s extends the happy hour pricing until 7pm, Signature Martinis for $9 and complimentary steak sandwiches. How could we not try this place out?! Pulling ...

Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill

Excellent tacos, but the perpetual line and the slightly high price keep me from coming back as often as I'd like. Parking is also a bit difficult on India Street.
