    SeaWorld San Diego

    309 reviews

I remember as a child, I love coming to San Diego and going Seaworld. Now 20 years later, I'm a teacher and I get to get in for free for the whole year! Unfortunately, this place lacks rides and shows. We came here in mid May and there were only 5 shows to see. I wish SeaWorld would give us ...

    Gaslamp Quarter

    258 reviews

The Gaslamp is a great spot to hang out with friends for the trendy food spots, bars, and clubs/lounges. There's parking along the street, but it's limited. I think there are a couple lots around the area, but since we were staying in Downtown SD, we just walked all the way down 5th to get to the Gaslamp.

We love the atmosphere and the restaurants and the people watching. We are patrons of Zia's Cafe, Po Pazzo (a bit pricey), Mona Lisa (love the deli), Bottlecraft and of course Ballast Point's new brewery/restaurant.

Nice area for walk in the morning. I recommend the spot to anyone especially for families. You can bring your bike, scooter, or skates. Little shoppes and restaurants line the walk so there's plenty to so around.

Quail Botanical Gardens was so much fun to visit. I am a nature lover and this is a great place to experience it. There was so much variety from fruit orchards, a rose garden, and different habitats: desert. tropical, forest-like, and so-forth. I was lucky and was let in for free. Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala

    9 reviews

This was the very first of the missions established by Junipero Serra. My brother got married here in the older chapel, which was a stunning place to hold a ceremony, in my opinion. The large, wooden, arched doorway gave the most dramatic entrance for my sister-in-law, with the light coming in from behind her. Their kids have also been baptized ...
