Casa del Prado is a beautiful old theater in Balboa Park. The outside architecture and design is Spanish style, while the inside acoustics are perfect for chorus performances, small plays, and holiday presentations - especially around Christmastime.Popular withLocalDesignHistory

I love going to the Old Globe to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas every year. As a beautiful replica of Shakespeare's Globe Theater in London, The Old Globe is an excellent venue for theatrical productions, musicals, and choral/band events. Plus, its location inside Balboa Park makes for a historic and elegant setting for any performance.Popular withLocalStudentsHistory

Great parking situation and getting out wasn't too bad though my friend and ...

It's a small theatre, so it felt very intimate and the view will always be good no matter where you seat. I felt the production was very honest. No glitz and glam, lots of soul and ...

I was here Nov '11 for an AWESOME - KICK ASS Jason Mraz and Toca Rivera concert. When I read the reviews for Spreckels Theatre at a nearby happy hour spot (*La Puerta - Really GOOD), I expected a tiny place with dingy chairs. We get there, and wow this place is BIG and TALL. It seems like they really ...
