A fun fair for everyone to see. Starts every summer and have different themes every year. Vendors are pretty much the same, but I think it's always a fun trip with family and friends to enjoy and keep as a tradition.

This fair is heaven for foodies! So many over-the-top treats and friend anything! Great rides, concerts on various nights, people watching, carnival games, student fair projects, animals, beer gardens and large tents which offer home goods, jewelry, and miscellaneous vendor booths. Great for kids and adults!

Never been to a fair this huge. I was pretty damn excited to indulge in deep fried whatchamacallits. It was a rather slow start, however. I was paying the price for my raging antics the night before, and I had yet to have my first full meal of the day. So I began my fair food experience with a (non-fried) chicken sandwich and eventually made my way up to Totally Fried Kool-Aid (best seller for this year, a must try), blooming onion and battered potatoes. My only regret was not getting dessert. I hear the fried girl scout cookies are excellent. *shakes fist* Not letting that happen again. I have plans to return next year and doubling up on the heart stopping goodness, with 9-1-1 on speed dial, just in case.

Ever since I was a baby, my parents would take me to the fair every summer. Kids can ride on rides and adults and go on rollercoasters. Now that I've grown up, I go with my friends and my fiance. We rode on an elephant ride. It was really fun. There is a lot of bbq and food to try. Bring cash!

I think what they mean to say is the Del Mar Fair. Amazing place! Roller coasters, barn yard animals, art, cotton candy and a sunset ride (over looking the Pacific ocean) on a giant ferris wheel... DO IT! You can get all the fried food you could possibly imagine... and a heart attack to go along with it! TWO must try items are The Roxy's Falafel Burger and garlic battered mushrooms. DMF offers great concerts in the summer time and many are free. You can also sign your friends up for $1 admission tickets (computer-like kiosks) at the south entrance if they are willing to give up an email address.
