Swanky San Francisco hotel that is centrally located to many shops, restaurants and nightlife. Has a pretty cool bar and is frequented by techies and people in town for conferences. Sometimes they throw big events (news years party, Halloween party, etc.) which can be pretty fun. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for!

I have never stayed in the rooms here but I have been to the red room. It's a bar in the hotel the is a lot of fun on a weekend night. It's up scale and crowded and good place to network. The drink prices are very high so don't be shocked at the $12 beers.

Excellent location and, boy, are those beds comfortable but somehow feels like it's an historical attraction which has had all of its charm squeezed out. I was upgraded to a double king deluxe, which was pleasant and mercifully soundproofed despite facing on to Market Street. If only the same could've been said of the soundproofing between bedrooms: I was treated ...

I absolutely love staying in this hotel. It's convenient to many great restaurants and bars in the Financial District, as well as the Embarcadero and the Stadium. The main lobby is beautiful, but can be a little dizzying if you have a room overlooking it by too many stories up. Not a great place if you're afraid of heights, but ...

Ok I'm just going to comment on their grilled cheese and raspberry drinks. The grilled cheese it the most amazing thing ever. It's something I dream about. I'm not sure the type of cheeses they use but they are spectacular with the caramelized onion. The raspberry drinks are some sort of muddled vodka concoction. The hotel is very beautiful as ...

Get a corner room on a high floor, amazing views of the city. The food is okay. I enjoy staying at newer renovated Westins, the rooms are great along with the amenities. I like the centralized location of the hotel. Great for corporate travel.

GORGEOUS. I didn't know about this hotel until my recent trip to SF. We had a city view from our room and let me tell you -- it made me fall in love with SF all over again. Service was great and the lobby had a lounge that looked pretty busy. I would definitely stay here again!

Located just 10 minutes walk of the Powell Street BART station, this is the usual Hilton hotel I stay at while in the city. I love the high floor views of the city, Golden Gate bridge and the San Francisco Bay. The bad: no executive lounge!

I've only stayed here once, but I think this place is better to eat at (at the Top of the Mark) or just drink and dance at, than to stay. There is a beautiful gingerbread house that looks like a mini hotel in the lobby during the holiday months - and that is great! However, for a luxury-priced hotel they ...

Hotel Vitale is a beautiful spa hotel with the best view of the Bay Bridge and ideally located near the Ferry Building. They offer FRESH brand bath products, which are amazing. I also thought it was pretty great to walk into the lobby and smell fresh lavender everyday.

There are a couple of Hiltons in the city, but this one always seems to have great rates (however, the parking here is expensive...but so is most of the parking in hotels like these in the city!). The lobby is simple but modern and neatly layed out, and they have a nice bar area. I really like the location - ...
