    W San Francisco

    W San Francisco

    Class:
    71 reviews
Good! - 79% of guests recommend

Like all W hotels, this one is ultra luxe, with funky Japonais decor in the rooms. You also can't go wrong with the location - right next to the SFMOMA and a few blocks from Union Square. Love their chic XYZ lounge downstairs and the lovely libations at the bar. There's also a heated indoor pool and gym. Definitely go ...

    The Westin St. Francis

    The Westin St. Francis

    Class:
    54 reviews
Good! - 79% of guests recommend

You couldn't have a better location but room quality really varies and some units are in desperate need of renovation. Very popular for conferences and can be insanely crowded / overrun. A good choice if it is on fire sale but, otherwise, other nearby properties offer similar convenience with less hassle.

    Clift Hotel San Francisco

    Clift Hotel San Francisco

    Class:
    37 reviews

People rave about this hotel but I'd rather stay across the street at the Hotel Monaco any day for any price. The Clift brings all that overdesigned and over self-importance of NYC and dumps it into usually less pretentious (but still smug!) San Francisco. Go for a drink. If you normally go to Miami and think the Standard in NYC ...

    Palace Hotel

    Palace Hotel

    Class:
    33 reviews

The Palace Hotel is perhaps the most significant hotel in San Francisco. Before the Great Quake of 1906, it was here that all the hot shots and bigwigs would dine. The great Italian tenor Enrico Caruso stayed here during the tremor that leveled the city, and ran out soon after, vowing never to return to San Francisco. "An 'ell of ...

    St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco

    St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco

    Class:
    24 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

The butler service alone would qualify the St. Regis into our favorite San Francisco luxury hotels list. Add on to that an infinity pool, luxurious spa, several restaurants, and top-notch customer service, and you've got one of the classiest hotels in all of California. The excellent room decor is only matched by their seamless technological additions (control your room through ...

Love the holiday spirit of the Hyatt. They put on a great holiday show with carolere, dance performances, and their beautiful lights throughout the hotel ceiling. Makes the guest feel cozy and happy with holiday glee.

3+ very convenient location. Clean and comfortable rooms especially the bed, we did not have a nice view from our room on the 14th floor and it was noisy.

I work very hard and when its time to rest I want the best! Started out at another hotel that is supposed to be fab ~ Change hotels but got directions here instead. I really did not think that the Manager could make me happy ~ I had driven straight through from San Diego and was only able to sleep ...

    InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco

    InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco

    Class:
    16 reviews
Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

I am instantly transported back to old San Francisco when I'm here. From the gorgeous guest rooms to the history of the Top of the Mark, I have this feeling of reconnecting with what it must have been like to be in San Francisco in the 40s. The staff is so overwhelmingly friendly and welcoming, it's ridiculous. My favorite kind ...

Having spent nearly 2-3 weeks living there, the customer service there was pretty good and cordial. However, their front desk seemed pretty sparse, maybe because there wasn't a huge crowd? Overall, I felt welcomed...

It is a standard Marriott hotel. Great location, close to the shopping area and Union Square. That is about it. Nothing to write home about.

    Mandarin Oriental

    Class:
    15 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

This hotel is located conveniently for anyone working in the finance district, SOMA or just visiting the city. I think all the rooms have pretty good views of SF but some are truly exceptional, looking right out across the Bay. This goes for the restaurant too - makes for a great breakfast.

Hotel Vitale, a Joie de Vivre hotel

    Class:

Very Good! - 84% of guests recommend

I really enjoyed my stay at the vitale. I was on vacation with my family and I can't say enough about its location on the embarcadero...right across the street from the ferry building and just blocks from union square etc. The restaurant downstairs, americano, was also great and the concierge was really helpful in booking an alcatraz visit for us.

    Omni San Francisco Hotel

    Omni San Francisco Hotel

    Class:
    11 reviews
Excellent! - 92% of guests recommend

The Omni San Francisco offers world-class service and luxury amenities and service at a slightly lower price tag than the city's top five-star hotels. Built as a bank in the roaring 20s, the opulent Austrian crystal chandeliers and tasteful decor is a welcome respite in the city. But attention to detail and customer service is why this hotel is so ...

    Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel

    Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel

    Class:
    15 reviews
Fair - 73% of guests recommend

The first words out of my daughters mouth when we walked into the lobby was "Is this an airport?". Fitting words - the hotel takes a whole city block and the hallways stretch out forever. While the lobby of the hotel was nice, overall our experience was just so so. The rooms were nice and had been recently redone, but ...

    Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

    Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

    Class:
    12 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

Four Seasons SF delivers (generally) Fourseasons service. Front of house operation is very consistent. The rooms, although clean and comfortable, feel stark and plain (less posh, more utilitarian), which is a deviation from other Fourseasons. Perhaps it is due to the SF location's gearing towards business traveller as opposed to resort/vacation makers. The restaurant is great and the bar is ...

Rating based solely on event facilities. Latest refresh brightens up the spaces. Responsive staff, well-stocked and good quality furnishings. The location is so convenient for event attendees. Just a little challenging loading/packing.
