    The Fairmont San Francisco

    The Fairmont San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    69 reviews

Gorgeously old school, the Fairmont San Francisco is situated on top of the hill and just has that, romantic feeling. I was here for a wedding, and wow, what a wedding it was. The ballroom was transformed completely and looked just stunning. I would love to actually stay here but not sure if I can afford it!

    W San Francisco

    W San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4
    70 reviews

Like all W hotels, this one is ultra luxe, with funky Japonais decor in the rooms. You also can't go wrong with the location - right next to the SFMOMA and a few blocks from Union Square. Love their chic XYZ lounge downstairs and the lovely libations at the bar. There's also a heated indoor pool and gym. Definitely go ...

    The Westin St. Francis

    The Westin St. Francis

    Hotel Class:
    4
    53 reviews

The only hotel in San Francisco's famous Union Square, the Westin St. Francis offers world-class luxury on top of one of the best locations in the city. It's surrounded by incredible shopping, restaurants and is just a short walk from Chinatown, the Financial District and the Moscone Convention Center. There's even a cable car stop right outside the front door.

    Clift Hotel San Francisco

    Clift Hotel San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4
    37 reviews

People rave about this hotel but I'd rather stay across the street at the Hotel Monaco any day for any price. The Clift brings all that overdesigned and over self-importance of NYC and dumps it into usually less pretentious (but still smug!) San Francisco. Go for a drink. If you normally go to Miami and think the Standard in NYC ...

    St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco

    Hotel Class:

    23 reviews

Great luxury hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, with big comfortable beds. The service is great - everyone is super helpful and friendly. Cool lobby bar that is fun to hang out in. Location is central - right next to the MoMA, walking distance from the Embarcadero and Ferry Terminal building, where there are lots of great restaurants, and SoMA. My ...

    Hyatt Regency San Francisco

    Hyatt Regency San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    21 reviews

I absolutely love staying in this hotel. It's convenient to many great restaurants and bars in the Financial District, as well as the Embarcadero and the Stadium. The main lobby is beautiful, but can be a little dizzying if you have a room overlooking it by too many stories up. Not a great place if you're afraid of heights, but ...

    The Ritz-Carlton

    The Ritz-Carlton

    Hotel Class:
    5
    16 reviews

The Ritz obviously has a reputation but I have only stayed in the SF location. I thought it was incredible... The rooms were amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is smack in the center of the FIDI (financial district). If you have the funds I recommend it.

I work very hard and when its time to rest I want the best! Started out at another hotel that is supposed to be fab ~ Change hotels but got directions here instead. I really did not think that the Manager could make me happy ~ I had driven straight through from San Diego and was only able to sleep ...

I stayed for a night since it was a girlfriend's birthday Friday night. The room was clean and a decent size for SF. The room was clean and I liked the toiletries. They didn't give me a room on an upper floor (I was on 14)...if you want a nice view, request a floor higher up. If I stay here ...

    Hilton San Francisco Union Square

    Hilton San Francisco Union Square

    Hotel Class:
    4
    19 reviews

Located just 10 minutes walk of the Powell Street BART station, this is the usual Hilton hotel I stay at while in the city. I love the high floor views of the city, Golden Gate bridge and the San Francisco Bay. The bad: no executive lounge!

    San Francisco Marriott Marquis

Love this hotel! It's the second time I've stayed here and enjoyed both times. It's in an EXCELLENT location and has an amazing sky bar on the 39th floor. The room we received was very spacious and clean, more than we expected! The hotel was nice in general, but it's really expensive here. It was $14 a day for Internet ...

    InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco

    InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    14 reviews

I've only stayed here once, but I think this place is better to eat at (at the Top of the Mark) or just drink and dance at, than to stay. There is a beautiful gingerbread house that looks like a mini hotel in the lobby during the holiday months - and that is great! However, for a luxury-priced hotel they ...

If you want a really hip hotel that is close to everything, then i would highly recommend Hotel Vitale. With great views and interesting decor and design choices like sunken tubs, this is a great option that is literally across from the Ferry Building. Staying here will give you easy access to some incredible eateries in and around the Ferry ...

    Omni San Francisco Hotel

    Omni San Francisco Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    11 reviews

The Omni San Francisco offers world-class service and luxury amenities and service at a slightly lower price tag than the city's top five-star hotels. Built as a bank in the roaring 20s, the opulent Austrian crystal chandeliers and tasteful decor is a welcome respite in the city. But attention to detail and customer service is why this hotel is so ...

    Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel

    Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel

    Hotel Class:

I really enjoyed my stay at the sheraton. It was just off the main drag of the wharf, which made it nice and quiet, but it was so close to everything that it really wasn't a problem at all to get to the restaurants on the wharf and in north beach. I really enjoyed the windowside desk in my room ...

    Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

I like this hotel for accepting a patron like me who want to simplify life, pack a backpack and drive to San Francisco. I wasn't dressed to impress yet I did not feel discriminated at all. The hotel is at the caliber you can expect from the hotel chain.

    Hilton San Francisco Financial District

    Hotel Class:

    10 reviews

There are a couple of Hiltons in the city, but this one always seems to have great rates (however, the parking here is expensive...but so is most of the parking in hotels like these in the city!). The lobby is simple but modern and neatly layed out, and they have a nice bar area. I really like the location - ...
