    W San Francisco

    W San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4
    70 reviews

Swanky San Francisco hotel that is centrally located to many shops, restaurants and nightlife. Has a pretty cool bar and is frequented by techies and people in town for conferences. Sometimes they throw big events (news years party, Halloween party, etc.) which can be pretty fun. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for!

    St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco

The butler service alone would qualify the St. Regis into our favorite San Francisco luxury hotels list. Add on to that an infinity pool, luxurious spa, several restaurants, and top-notch customer service, and you've got one of the classiest hotels in all of California. The excellent room decor is only matched by their seamless technological additions (control your room through ...

    The Fairmont San Francisco

    Hotel Class:

On Nob Hill this is definetly classy and what I think of when San Francisco comes to mind. The hotel is a bit stuffy but the service is wonderful! The rooms are spacious with great amenities and it has everything. One thing I really loved is that the hotel has a car that will take you anywhere within a 5 ...

    Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

    Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    11 reviews

This is one of the better Four Seasons properties that I have stayed at in the US. Great location, rooms, and impeccable but friendly service. Really nothing not to like. Recent construction means that the property doesn't have the tired feel of of some of the properties on the East Coast. Loved the corner room -- lot's of light and ...

Can't beat the location a block from the Embarcadero, which makes the bay view rooms amazing. Perfect view of the bay bridge and the ferry building. If you're stuck in a city room, you can still enjoy the view from the rooftop terraces with lounge chairs and space heaters--a must in SF! Excellent customer service. The Westin St. Francis

    The Westin St. Francis

    Hotel Class:
    4
    53 reviews

Love the architecture of this historical hotel. While my room was rather spacious with a Heavenly king sized bed, it was not the most beautiful Westin room I've stayed in, but the view of the city was quite stunning. I was disappointed that there weren't as many toiletries inside the bathroom, and no plush bathrobes. I don't know, maybe my ...

    Mandarin Oriental

    Mandarin Oriental

    Hotel Class:

    15 reviews

This is a very solid property but it isn't as nice as other Mandarin Oriental properties and certainly isn't the best hotel in the city. I stayed in an Executive Corner Suite which had a city view (i.e., not the bay). The property has a lot to offer and is a good hotel. Highlights are: - excellent views from the ...

    Hotel Zetta San Francisco

    Hotel Zetta San Francisco

    5
    5 reviews

Hotel Zetta was absolutely stunning. You really have to take a second look at all of the art, in their lobby, salvage and rescue bar, and each of the guestrooms. Most of the decor are re-purposed items - their dramatic chandelier uses eyeglasses. Keep an eye out for old computer parts, floppy discs, music records, and even old booking photos ...

Loved the historic nature of the Drake Hotel. We were in town for a short weekend and they were conveniently located within walking distance of some great restaurants and points of interest. We ate at the hotel restaurant, which served delicious Italian fare at a reasonable price.

    The Huntington Hotel

    The Huntington Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4
    7 reviews

One of the top hotels in San Francisco, The Huntington Hotel drips with old-world elegance. And that absolutely includes its elegant Big 4 restaurant. The type of restaurant your grandparents would have loved (if they were really, really hip grandparents), the menu is upscale classic American: iceberg lettuce and bay shrimp salads, wild boar chops, and more.

    Omni San Francisco Hotel

    Omni San Francisco Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    11 reviews

The Omni San Francisco offers world-class service and luxury amenities and service at a slightly lower price tag than the city's top five-star hotels. Built as a bank in the roaring 20s, the opulent Austrian crystal chandeliers and tasteful decor is a welcome respite in the city. But attention to detail and customer service is why this hotel is so ...

    Hyatt Regency San Francisco

    Hyatt Regency San Francisco

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    21 reviews

The soaring 10+-story open lobby makes this hotel out-of-the-ordinary for so many reasons, especially during the Christmas season. During that time, "snow" falls from the top of the atrium several times a day. Guests will find accommodations from modest to grand, and the location--right on the BART and major bus lines--couldn't be better. Chinatown is a 15-minute walk, as are ...

    Grand Hyatt San Francisco

    Grand Hyatt San Francisco

    Hotel Class:

The Grand Hyatt is a very centrally located hotel near Union Square in San Francisco. I've always liked to take out of town visitors to the top floor Grandview lounge for drinks because it is rarely crowded, has great views, easy to find and get to, and has nice strong drinks. I also like to tell out of towners about ...
