    La Mar Cebicheria Peruana

    4
    31 reviews

La Mar really is an awesome restaurant space that's well-designed and beaming with a bright, exuberant atmosphere. It's very classy, but still keeps a fun energy within its walls -- perfect for a Peruvian restaurant. The food, however, wasn't as great as I expected for a place with such nice decor and with fairly steep prices. But before I get ...

    Absinthe Brasserie and Bar

    4.5
    28 reviews

A cute little French brasserie, Asbinthe has an extensive wine list from which I only had time to sample a very nice Cava. The food is a good match, although not that French - I had a delicious heirloom tomato grilled cheese and my friends a fat, juicy burger. Close to the SF Symphony, it's perfect for cocktails and snacks ...

A great hipster coffee in the San Francisco area. On par to Blue Bottle Coffee and Ritual Coffee. One of my favorite new coffee places.

Oh San Tung. Many a nights I have dreamt about your chicken wings... only to wake up and re-live a small sense of disappointment when I realize that you are miles and miles away and not down the street. I've been here a few times and we ALWAYS get their chicken wings. Heck, it seems like everyone at the restaurant ...

    Waterbar

Good drinks, good service, and friendly staff (who you'll be friends with by night's end if you sit at the bar). The place is hip, but perhaps better described as cozy. While it's fine for GNO, it's better suited for a couple's dinner - sit down to a dim-lit meal, have some wine, look out over the moonlit ocean.

    Flour + Water

I had a great experience at flour+water. I've been on a recent restaurant reservation rampage, and this place was a must try for me. I made a reservation for a group of 6 for a weekend dinner about a month in advance. The restaurant is small so reservations are recommended to ensure that you get a table and to minimize ...

I don't think this will become a regular drinking place on my list, but it's a place everyone has to visit once. Definitely a staple of SF culture. Highly recommend getting the lava bowl, just be careful!

This Chinatown restaurant was recommended by my friend, who is a local there. They told me to try their crab as it's the best crab in the area because they fry it very differently. I did and it was so delicious. Make sure to stop by here if you're in Chinatown San Francisco.

If you are looking for a quick and delicious bite, then Nick's Crispy Tacos is where you want to go. Each bite is memorable, in fact, I remember my first bite being half crispy and half guacamole goodness. That's not bad for a first bite of a taco.

This place is really nice! The views are breathtaking, so make sure to get there before sunset. In case you want to wait for a table by the window, take your time at the bar and enjoy one of their amazing drinks - it's a full bar, so you can order whatever you have in mind. I tried their Dungeness ...

Awesome brunch. The servers are really nice and accommodating. Great place for vegetarians but they've still got sausage and bacon for the meat-eaters. Front doors stay open on this small corner burch spot. Truffle fries are so yummy! Mushroom Benedict is delicious...

What an amazing experience, especially when someone else is paying. Been there for drinks but only was recently lucky enough to experience dining there. We had the most divine wine here, it was a California Zin, by a small winery named Carlisle. They don't make many bottles and things seem to sell out immediately (nothing available on their site). I ...

You will definitely have to stand in line. This is not the greatest part of town either. However, the food makes up for all that. The cornbread is good. My scramble was even better. I got a special with pesto, mozzarella, and Italian sausage.

Great decor - very old school and felt iconic. Family seating, so don't be shy and share your table with the other groups of tourists who also came to try their Irish coffee. Speaking of their Irish coffee, they are so good at making it that it comes out quickly and hot. It was my first time drinking an Irish ...

The best quick burger I've had in awhile. It's a sexual experience, really, but I won't go into detail as I don't think Gogobot an appropriate venue for lubricious talk. Instead, here are some key adjectives: Juicy. Hot. Flavorful. Satisfying. And something about meat between two steamy buns but you can figure that part out for yourself. Friendly service. Good ...

The food was fantastic. Very tasty and nicely presented asian food. The service was great too. The decor of the restaurant was very simple. They do not serve any cocktails and the wine list was not very exciting.

This place has great new-Mexican food. Their fish tacos, tortilla soup and margaritas are fantastic. There is no sign, just a red brick facade and a red light outside. They don't take reservations but are well worth the wait. If you go when they open you should get seated right away.
