    UNIQLO - San Francisco

    7 reviews

I like the Uniqlo brand for their functional clothing. They're growing by leaps and bounds internationally. I think their price warrants the quality, it's just that I can't really afford to shop here often haha. There's several lines of clothing, from Heattech, t•down by Theory, and undercover. I'm afraid some of their outerwear winter items aren't really that useful in ...

    Cobb's Comedy Club

    7 reviews

Cobb's Comedy Club has been showcasing comedic talent for decades. Long ago, they were out on Clement street, but has been at this more convenient location for tourists and locals for many years. It is a 400 seat, two level venue, with the upstairs just a single row on a rear mezzanine. There is a 2 drink minimum, and most ...

    Cigar Bar & Grill

    4 reviews

Nice little lounge with an outdoor patio. It wasn't too packed for happy hour on a Friday night. We grabbed a seat inside since the outdoor patio was full. The service is a little slow. The drinks are good and so are the garlic as herb fries!

I came here with co-workers for a company-sponsored outing. The food was just ok, not super authentic, but we were just looking for some munches + some drinks to complement the karaoke. It was a fun night! I was surprised that they had so many songs to choose from, including recent songs. The music videos are pretty funny haha... Definitely ...

    Taverna Aventine

    3 reviews

Cute little bar in FiDi. There's a downstairs area that can be reserved for private events, which was what I was here for. My company had the downstairs one evening. As we were walking in, it was pretty packed (I did see a sign outside for happy hour on Wednesday evenings, which was probably why there were so many people ...

Cute wine bar with flare. They own a winery somewhere and have unbottled wines that come straight from the barrels. There's options for wine flights as well. They have a small selection of bar bites -- can't get enough of the truffle popcorn!

    Fort Funston

The greatest stretch of dog friendly beach in California - and it's not too shabby for humans either. There is always a high, breaking surf. an almost endless stretch of beach and as a diversion, hang gliders.

    Macy's Union Square

    32 reviews

The San Francisco Macy's location is the flagship store for the chain's West Coast division. With two tall buildings for men's and women's clothing, you'll find a lot of options (an also significant amounts of walking). They aren't connected, so it can be annoying going from one to the other. Personally, I prefer the women's side since they decorate it ...

    Redwood Room

    17 reviews

This is a really fun bar to visit in the lobby of the Clift Hotel. As you walk in, you will notice the oversized chair. If you are feeling bold, get down on your hands and knees to look underneath. I promise there is a reason.

    Rouge et Blanc

    3 reviews

I've been talking nonstop about Rouge et Blanc. Prices are reasonable, wine is served in separate glasses (so you can pour it as you prefer into your glass), they serve food and they have excellent taste in music. The space is comfortable and large, and the service here is very friendly. I'll be back soon!

    Goorin Brothers Hat Shop

    7 reviews

This is a tidy hat shop stocked with the Goorin Bros. collection of hats. During my visit most were about $50, and seemed well-made and stylish. The staff were really helpful, and mentioned that they could custom size many of the hats for a perfect fit. I enjoyed browsing the tasteful well-displayed hats. Note: this is not the shop where ...

    Whole Foods Market (4th Street)

    12 reviews

If you're staying in downtown San Francisco and you're looking for organic produce, this Whole Foods is probably the best place to get it without paying Bristol Farms prices. It's quite large, so it easily accommodates crowds better than some of the smaller WFs in the city.

One of my favorite bars to go to in the city. It has a laid back atmosphere and pin ball machines. Fun place to go and hangout with friends.

Though San Francisco is a fantastic public-transportation town (well, almost fantastic), sometimes you just NEED a car. Maybe it's a big Costco shopping trip, or you're moving some furniture, or you want to spend a day in Marin - sometimes the bus and the BART and your bike just aren't going to cut it. This car-sharing company is the Bay ...

I love this place so much. With a variety of fantastic Italian food items and an amazing deli, it's a great place to shop whether you want food now or later. It's also my go-to place for great Italian chocolates, particularly Baratti e Milano, which is simply heavenly. Service is beyond friendly. If I could give them all a golden ...
