    Local Edition

    34 reviews

Local Edition. I love it. Typewriters, spacious seating, takes reservations (non bottle service kind), and artisan cocktails with names like 'Fidel and Che'. Sold. Also Bloody Mary made with pho broth.. Mind Blown. Watch your step while you go down the stairs. I almost ate it. Trying to foursquare check-in (zOHMAHGERD, I'm here), while holding my new diy terrarium, and ...

Very cool spot in sf! They have a great basement area where they have DJs spinning and a completely different vibe then the upstairs area that's far more lit. The specialty cocktails are great and on the weekends they have aerialists upstairs.

It is definitely happening here! I have never been to Redford and didn't know what to expect. I walked in and was confronted with crowds of people on a Happy Hour Friday Night! Awesome! Gogobot's event was at the very top balcony which gave everyone a pretty good bird's eye view of all the happenings below. I love the interior, ...

    Yoshi's San Francisco

    24 reviews

Yoshi's SF is a great, intimate old style Jazz club with a lot of modern interpretations of the classic Cabaret. First, the design is well thought out, with really no bad seat in the house. There is the main floor in front of the stage with about 4 rows of tables in a fan shape around the stage, and 2 ...

Fetish art bar with a variety of amazing cocktails. Highly recommend this little joint in the middle of mission district. Ask the bar tender for Recs on drinks! The whiskey cocktails are great.

    Bluxome Street Winery

    4 reviews

Very cool and trendy wine bar in the heart of Soma, right by caltrain. The wine bar is in a brick building on bluxome st. Their wines are pretty good, although you won't find nearly as many of the unique blends and varietals in your typical Napa winery. That said, the great ambience and convenient location make this place a ...

This yacht club is in a prime location, right next to AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants! It is on the other side from McCovey Cove and the Splash Hits. Actually, when you see the Coke Bottle and huge Glove in left field on a Giants game on TV, it is right behind there! It is a private, ...

    Goorin Brothers Hat Shop

    7 reviews

This is a tidy hat shop stocked with the Goorin Bros. collection of hats. During my visit most were about $50, and seemed well-made and stylish. The staff were really helpful, and mentioned that they could custom size many of the hats for a perfect fit. I enjoyed browsing the tasteful well-displayed hats. Note: this is not the shop where ...

    K & L Wine Merchants

    3 reviews

K & L has long been the best place in SF and the Peninsula to buy wines, and their website is very good, too. But this review is about a special event sponsored by K & L wines: Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2009 vintage tasting event at the Bently Reserve, January 21, 2012. This event brought together 85+ ...

My favorite of the large theatres in San Francisco. Lovely inside and out. If felt like I saw Phantom of the Opera from virtually every location and each seat was fantastic. Looking forward to my next visit.

    Bently Reserve

This is a really beautiful event space that I didn't even know was in the middle of FiDi, and I work here! I was here for a holiday party and it was perfect for the 20s/Great Gatsby themed party with the high ceilings, chandeliers, and decor. The space is pretty big, so it's great for an event for several hundred ...

    49 Geary Art Galleries

    2 reviews

Incredible art galleries, although it's gone very, very upscale over the past few years. Everything from $100,000+ glass sculptures to the latest work by incredible Russian painters. You can find more down-to-earth prices for art, but it's less available than it used to be. There's also a great deli on the street.
