This is my first time at a speakeasy. This is awesome! It has a historical feel to it and the employees look the part. Very cool. They have really interesting drinks with interesting names too. Definitely coming back again! The Yellow Kid is a lemon drink...creeps up on you :)

    Monarch

Monarch is a gem of a bar/club in SoMa! I love the decor - it's a little old-timey and industrial at the same time. There's a long bar, two sitting areas, a swing for aerial performances and a free photobooth upstairs, and the downstairs space is perfect for a private party as there's a small stage, DJ booth and bar. ...

    Mr Smith's

34 7th Street, San Francisco, CA

    26 reviews

I always have a great time at Mr. Smith's. The place is lovely and the staff are really professional. It's also the first place where a bartender remembered me. I've since made an effort to remember them as well. It gets pretty packed on Saturday nights, so get there early. Luckily, the space is huge, so the dancehall downstairs is ...

    Ferry Building Marketplace

1 Ferry Building, San Francisco, CA

    201 reviews

Ok, i'm a foodie, so for me this was the best place in San Francisco. I was in SF for 5 days and I came back here about 3 times just to eat. The Ferry Building is a very large farmer's/organic/food market, where you just happen to take the ferry. There are a couple of days during the week when ...

It is definitely happening here! I have never been to Redford and didn't know what to expect. I walked in and was confronted with crowds of people on a Happy Hour Friday Night! Awesome! Gogobot's event was at the very top balcony which gave everyone a pretty good bird's eye view of all the happenings below. I love the interior, ...

Such a wonderful park. The vibes are happy and there is so much energy buzzing in the air. Great for hanging with friends, drinking a bit and picnicking. Great for people watching too! An eclectic group, plenty of bikes, and plenty of space to enjoy. Gorgeous views and located in a fun area of the city.

This place oozes sexiness and class. Get there before 10pm or else it gets really cramped! The craft cocktails were well made and enjoyable.

The name Driftwood alone will tell you that this hip local bar is a place for those with wanderlust. With an old-school nautical theme, this SoMa bar features reasonably priced cocktails in an intimate space. You can't not go to see the famous Haight-Ashbury. If you're expecting something super exciting, you'll be disappointed. it's just a street intersection with shops on it. It's what the street means that makes it powerful as you walk down it.

The Fillmore, one of the most iconic districts in San Francisco, is as much the legendary center of jazz and rock as it was in it’s prime. Once the playing grounds for smooth psychedelic cats like Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana and Pink Floyd, it’s now a mix between affluent and hip. And here, the two often converge. North ...

    The Armory Club

1799 Mission Street, San Francisco, California, United States
    4.5
    8 reviews

Pretty good cocktails and great service in a nice space across from the Kink.com "fortress." It's okay for most crowds, though there's some bondage art and live cams on the wall. At the time, the live cams just showed empty rooms. It's owned by the Kink.com folks, so I'm not sure how racy it can get!

Love the city atmosphere with tall buildings, public transportation, people walking everywhere, and shops lining the streets. There's a bunch of hotels in the vicinity; if you can stay at one of these, it's super simple to find a place to eat/shop!

    Amelie Wine Bar

1754 Polk St, San Francisco, CA
    4.5
    10 reviews

Friendly service. Cozy Atmosphere. Awesome wine selection. They also present tapas/cheese plates/chacuterie offerings that pair really well with their wines. Prices are quite reasonable. Especially during their happy hour, they have a $10/3 flights special. They are opened til late, cheeses are served even after the kitchen closes. (When I meant late in SF term means around midnight on weekends)

One of the best record stores in the world. If you cannot find it here probably your taste is music is absurdly obscure or it sucks. Amazing selection of old and new cds, vinyl and music dvd at more than reasonable prices.
