    Uncle Ho´s

0.28 mi from San Francisco Church
    2 reviews

Really delicious Vietnamese food. The cuisine really tastes authentic and is nothing like the "chifa"--the local term for chinese food--restaurants that you'll find nearby. Try the pho or the summer rolls--and don't forget to order the peanut dipping sauce. Head here when you just can't stand to eat another plate of rice, chicken and shredded lettuce.

    La Ronda

0.96 mi from San Francisco Church
    2 reviews

A stroll through La Ronda - a small but very representative neighborhood of Colonial Quito - is a good way to get a feeling of traditional life in Quito. It’s a romantic cobbled street just off the Plaza Santo Domingo (or it can be reached via Garcia Moreno by the City Museum). Within only two blocks of stucco buildings with ...

    La Ronda

0.43 mi from San Francisco Church

La Ronda in Quito is a beautiful street in the Historic Center of the city. It is said to be one of the oldest streets in Quito and has been nicely restored. It sits close to the base of the famous "Panecillo" hill which is crowned with a winged virgin statue.

0.28 mi from San Francisco Church

A welcoming, pretty little restaurant in a jumble of covered shops know as Palacio Arzobispal on the corner of Chile and Venezuela Sts. in old town. Good food, helpful staff; try the killer house dessert, a cake flavored with orange and vanilla--you'll need a shot of their espresso with it. Cafe Mosaico

0.88 mi from San Francisco Church
    1 review

While the prices may be a little steep for the average backpacker, the views here are some of the best in Quito. I recommend coming in the evening for a glass of wine or dessert, just so you can see the lights of the city at night. It's a good place to pair with a visit to parque itchimbia.

    BBQ & Co.

2.09 mi from San Francisco Church

Size really matters here, as "size matters" is BBQ & Co's logo and they stay true their logo: everything is big, HUGE portioned. The beers, the steak, and the appetizers. BBQ & Co is a sports bar right at the center of the Plaza Foch in the Mariscal area. The location is great for people watching and the service is ...

    Kallari Cafe

2.0 mi from San Francisco Church

Dining in Ecuador doesn't get any greener than this. The Kallari Cafe is owned and operated by a cooperative of indigenous Kichwa people from the Amazon, practicing sustainable agriculture and low-impact marketing of chocolate products and crafts. The cafe is a delightful place to sample traditional cuisine or stock up on mouth-watering chocolate treats, made from local, organic cacao beans ...

    El Pobre Diablo

2.15 mi from San Francisco Church

Probably the coolest live music and dining venue in all of Ecuador. The decor is a hip Andean funk fusion, which is reflected in the excellent food. Live music is a regularity here, featuring international bands as well as the best of Quito's local scene.
