Love this hotel! It's the second time I've stayed here and enjoyed both times. It's in an EXCELLENT location and has an amazing sky bar on the 39th floor. The room we received was very spacious and clean, more than we expected! The hotel was nice in general, but it's really expensive here. It was $14 a day for Internet and $62 per day to park. Ridiculous! We ended up parking in a private lot nearby.

    PROS:
    -Clean and spacious room
    -Great views
-Sky Bar is expensive but relaxing and amazing
    -Bath and Boy Works products

    CONS:
    -Paying for Internet
-$62 a day to park your car and it's valet only
    -Expensive as hell for everything

Overall, great hotel and I would stay here again!

Fantastic hotel! Just south of Market Street, in the heart of the city, next to the Moscone Convention Center and steps away from the Yerba Buena Gardens, renowned museums and cultural attractions, world-class shopping on Union Square, and AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants.

There are lovely penthouse views and cocktails at The View Lounge on the 39th floor, or enjoy the finest contemporary cuisine at Mission Grille. Renowned as a meeting hotel in San Francisco, this business hotel provides flexible and expansive event venues to accommodate both grand and intimate San Francisco hotel receptions. Whether in town for business or pleasure, experience San Francisco at the Marriott Marquis hotel in San Francisco, CA where you're sure to leave your heart.

The staff was very convenient and accommodated a large wedding party. P.S... there's a Starbucks in the lobby!

This hotel is within walking distance from Yerba Buena Gardens and Moscone Convention Center, which makes it an ideal place to stay for the business traveler. It is also home of The View Lounge, located on the 39th floor. I highly recommend going here in the late afternoon/evening to take in a libation and a panoramic view of downtown SF.

This Marriott is nice. Right next to all the shops on market street and a short walk to union square. The view lounge at the top I pricy but if you have never been you need to check it out. It's a 360 view of the city from the 38 floor.

This hotel is in a convenient location close to the BART and Union Square. I liked the comfy queen beds, the spacious bathroom, and the Starbucks downstairs. However, the taxi line was long and slow-moving, and I didn't like the hallways leading up to the rooms. Be sure to ask for a room near the elevator, otherwise it's a mazelike walk to the room.

Great location. My wife shopped all day while I attended my conference. The lobby is nice. I recommend staying on a high floor so you don't hear all the traffic noise.

I paid about $85 a night for a two night stay through Priceline last May. I was attending an event at Moscone Convention Center, so the location couldn't be beat. This is a luxurious Marriott property that's convenient to BART, shopping, etc.

It is a standard Marriott hotel. Great location, close to the shopping area and Union Square. That is about it. Nothing to write home about.

I give it four stars mostly due to the convenient location. Rooms are OK but could certainly be better value wise. General atmosphere is average.

Humongous Marriott hotel right near the Moscone Convention Center. This place is huge, and does a ton of business. They do a lot of convention business, so it's rare to find good rates on your own. This place is not intimate at all, but the service is very good.

The point of staying here is location, location, location.

    Wait, do you hear that?
Is that House music being played in the lobby....
    Yes, yes it is.

I was impressed by the music selection. I hope that it isn't only because of Lovefest and the perhaps it's the music of choice year round. I doubt it, but I'll be back to find out.

The lobby is rather nice. And it appears to be open all day. I found myself hanging out there late at night after the clubs just chillin and working on some sketch work for a new tattoo. There's so many styles of chairs that I have yet to decide which one is the most comfortable one there.

The room itself was alright. Nothing particularly special. Then again I'm not there for anything more than crashing and waking up.

A key thing is that they do have a starbucks on site. That's always helpful.
    ;D
