San Francisco's Trendiest Nightlife Spots

Featured Guide
Want to enjoy craft cocktails in a cool setting? Look no further, these are the spots to hit up.

The Armory Club

Sexy and cool lounge in the Mission from the guys of Great happy hour specials from 5-8pm. The back room is perfect for private parties. Plus, you can plan a tour at The SF Armory across the street before your party - go through all five floors including adult film sets (it's the home to Kink’s...

Amazing remodel of the former Medjool space. A sexy dimly lit Argentinian steakhouse now, Lolinda serves up tasty tapas and excellent craft cocktails. The rooftop is still under renovation, but it should be ready and popping off during the warmer months. Prices are very reasonable; $9 for two bone...

La Mar Cebicheria Peruana

One of the best restaurants in SF - certainly the best Peruvian. Definitely do the cebiche sampler, the octopus skewers (I've never had octopus prepared so well), lomo saltado and lamb shank. Actually, do everything and anything, because everyone in our party of 14 absolutely loved what they got....

Bourbon and Branch

The ultimate speakeasy in SF. You must make advanced reservations to drink here. All of their cocktails are crafted by some of the top mixologists around. The Russells Room is a perfect space for a private Prohibition Era-themed party!

The guys from Burbon and Branch really hit a home run each time they open up a new bar in the city. Tradition is probably my favorite of all the locations because it's intimate and spacious at the same time. It's not as loud and crowded as Rickhouse or Local Edition and you don't have to make a reservation...

The space is awesome, modeling itself after warehouses that store barrels of whiskey. There are two bars, two levels, and bathrooms that are apparently too hard to figure out how to open if you get sloshed on some of their fantastic hard cocktails. I suspect the pair who shared an entire punch bowl...

W San Francisco

Like all W hotels, this one is ultra luxe, with funky Japonais decor in the rooms. You also can't go wrong with the location - right next to the SFMOMA and a few blocks from Union Square. Love their chic XYZ lounge downstairs and the lovely libations at the bar. There's also a heated indoor pool and gym....

Twenty Five Lusk

25 Lusk epitomizes industrial chic. A place you'd more likely find in NYC than SF, it's the perfect spot to hit if hip and sexy is what you're in the mood for. The exposed beams and brick walls of this massive former meatpacking space are complimented by the futuristic floating metal firepits and sleek...

Roka Bar

This sexy dimly lit bar on the bottom floor of Roka Akor is perfect for intimate dates of group parties. They also offer bar food not on the menu upstairs.

Local Edition

Local Edition is easily my new favorite bar in the city! The cocktails are AMAZING! Part of the Bourbon & Branch family of craft cocktail bars, Local Edition pays homage to its location at the former Examiner printing room in the basement of the Hearst Building and the 50s and 60s, with its decor and...
