Came here for a graduation party on the top floor suite. The Fairmont is as luxurious as it gets - top shelf. Even the President will come here to give speeches. On the bottom floor there are restaurants and a sushi bar. It can get crowded at any point in the year.

I came here for a panel event but did not stay here. I did spend some time in the main living room area doing some work, and if that is anything similar to the rest of the hotel, I'd have to say that this hotel is very fancy! If you want the entire San Jose experience in luxury, stay here.

    De Anza

    Class:

Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

The historic Hotel De Anza opened its doors to the public during the heart of the Great Depression in 1931. This was an early "first class" Hotel for the future Capital of Silicon Valley. The original 10-story building was constructed in just one year and at a cost of ~$500,000. That's 1/20th of the the 1990s restoration cost. The Hotel ...

    Moorpark Hotel

    Class:
    2 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

The Moorpark Hotel is a Joie de Vivre boutique hotel located in a more residential area of San Jose, so you'll only find Asian supermarkets, chain restaurants and some of the bay area's best ramen spots within walking distance. The rates are low probably for this reason. However, it is conveniently located off of Hwy 280 so getting to other ...

We stayed here in 2009 and the rooms and facilities were nice. We didn't spend much time on the grounds outside of our room given our full agenda, but the room was comfortable and the staff friendly. I would have liked to have been able to explore the parlor/library, but it just wasn't in the cards this time. This is ...

This hotel has undergone some serious renovations in recent years and it was definitely worth the wait. The top three floors all have themes, and the rooms are very nicely done. The downstairs sushi restaurant is also very good for being in a hotel near the airport, which makes it a god destination for weary business travelers. The rates are ...

Ah, Courtyard San Jose Airport. This is probably my one, and only, most favorite near airport hotel. The rooms are large, clean, beds are comfortable, there is not one, but two extra pillows in the closet and the bedding is warm! What a departure from poor shabby blankets you usually end up getting at most places. The staff is nice, ...

    San Jose Airport Garden Hotel

    Class:

The garden hotel used to be the holiday inn so it confused me a little bit but the essence of the hotel is the same -- even some of the staff is the same. It might've spent more money and time and fixing up the outdoor pool area than on the rooms though because the rooms are still poorly lit ...

Decently priced. I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday inn express but it is five or six blocks from the airport which became a little inconvenient, but they provided a free airport shuttle which took about 10-15 minutes to reach the terminals.

For $69, what can you expect...the price was right and the room was clean...enough. Even though I would've liked a better smell and a more modern tv, it did the trick for a one night stay near the airport. No airport shuttle though, so I took the vta tram and hooked up with the flyer shuttle.

Although currently listed as a Crowne Plaza, this poor little stepchild of a hotel was formerly a Holiday Inn and is now a Hyatt Place. At one time, it and the Sainte Claire were the only games in town, and the Sainte Claire was in sad shape at that time. Now of course with a spruced-up Sainte Claire, Hilton, Marriott ...
